Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: The Ultimate Illustrated Guidebook (SECOND EDITION)

This is the second edition of the book Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: The Ultimate Illustrated Guidebook by Seymour Yang and Graham Barlow with foreword by John B. Will (7th degree). This book is the culmination of years of painstaking work and research.

Written by Seymour Yang and Graham Barlow, two experienced black belt coaches, the book (US Letter size) features over 970 hand drawn illustrations accompanied by over 50,000 words across 270 pages. It is printed on premium quality silk paper and cased within a softback anti-scuff matt cover.

“This is the BJJ book that I wish I’d had when I started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There’s enough material here to keep you busy for months and it covers all areas of the game, from stand-up and passing to guard work and submissions. The escape and defense section is probably my favourite of all the chapters,” says Graham.

What sets this book apart from other BJJ titles are the hundreds of meticulously drawn illustrations which bring an unmatched clarity to the techniques on display. “I’ve always loved old martial arts instructional books. Many of these books were lavishly illustrated with expertly crafted line drawings. I hope the book we present here does the genre justice while bringing it firmly into the present day” Seymour explains.

The book will be shipped in protective cardboard mailing packaging and further protected inside with shrinkwrap and bubble wrap.
